I love the dystopian nature of the piece which contradicts the utopian nature or stereotype of Steampunk. It's a very powerful image, beautifully executed (no pun intended).
It's almost dreamy yet has a very graspable quality to it with the accessibility of the characters you create and the strong narrative. Really, really wonderful. The colour palettes are also very strong while not being too overwhelming. A very beautifully balanced piece of art!

rally displays the pain of being in love really well and yet from an outsider's perspective we only see the rose. It is only when we actually experience it ourselves that we see all the cracks and feel the pain of our heart pounding out of our chests for someone else and not being returned.

Gorgeous and haunting. I love how that one stream of light really plays a part in the composition, the way it hits his face and then gets softer as it goes downwards is wonderful. His expression is what really makes this piece for me...it's such raw hurt. :C

I don't think i made a comment here because I wasn't sure what to say aside from this picture made me make a whole new Favorites Folder for Beautiful things... I really like this a lot and I'd kill to have a print...Which is rare XD I'd never consider buying anything from DA but I really really want this on my wall ;3; One day...
